ABDC Season 4 – Episode 7 – Decades of Dance Challenge and Last Chance Challenge
Closer and closer to the finale of ABDC!
This time the crews compete each other in a challenge called Decades of dance. They had to dance to a mix of five songs from the past five decades. The top dance moments they had to dance to were the following:
Decade Song
1960s ”Sex Machine” by James Brown
1970s ”Uprock” by Rock Steady Crew
1980s ”Cold Hearted” by Paula Abdul
1990s ”You Make Me Wanna” by Usher
2000s “LoveGame” by Lady Gaga
First things first as usual. Bottom two groups. We are Heroes and Massive Monkeys were the crews nominated. Afroborike is already on the finale.
Starting with the challenge, Afroborike was first to go. The routine wasn´t hard hitting enough. It was an easy choreography, lacked of strength. They are not hip hoppy enough!!!!! They sure do their stuff pretty amazingly but I can´t believe they are on the finale! They were not hard enough for me.
Bottom two time to go.
First were Massive Monkees. I like this group but the choreography didn´t blow my mind. It was somewhat sloppy. It´s like they took the challenge for granted. They did a good job overall but not a great one.
My favourite girls were next. We Are Heroes did a fantastic job. The tutting part was sick!!! They were creative and hard hitting. They are athletic, hot and hardcore at the same time. And they know exactly when and how to apply each characteristic on the routine. They are versatile. THEY HAVE TO WIN!!!!!
Sadly, Massive Monkees had to leave the competition. Afroborike should have gone!
Then was time for “The Last Chance Challenge”
Again Afroborike was first. They didn´t name their performance, in fact it was the first crew not to name it. They did their thing. They were hot and spicy. They added their Latin flavor to the stage. But I insist, they are really good but they are not a hip hop crew.
Beautiful We Are Heroes ladies were next. Now this truly was a winning performance. They were off the chain. They popped as no one else. They even literally lighted the stage on fire. They use torches as props and they danced like hard core divas all the way. From the beginning of the competition they were one of my 3 favourite’s crews. Go We Are heroes!!!! Even the judges said they should win!!!
